My big sister Melynda Ann

I wanted to let those of you who don't know already but knew my sister Melynda Thomas passed away Wednesday night. We love her and we will miss her so much. Those who knew her knew of her courage and strength. We have all learned so much from her and treasure and look forward, with hope, to the day we can be with her again. I love you Melynda!

Thanks you for all the love and support. I know prayer works because I honestly testify that our family has literally been carried through this experience. Please continue to pray we still need them very much. We love you all!

I am not going to even try to update you on all that has happened since may. We have decided to not go private . All though we would like to take a different direction with our blog. I am still figuring out what I want our blog to be about. Until then enjoy some of our pictures from this summer.

Going Private

You'd think that we don't feed him enough. But those chubby cheeks prove other wise.

Poor Jayci. She has been sick a lot this winter. A couple of weeks ago she got the stomach flu and was not able to keep down a Tbs. of water. We end up having to go the hospital because she was dehydrated. I never in my life have seen someone throw up as much as she did during the week long sickness. Unfortunately as I type this she is sick again with a fever and is lying in her bed. Can't the poor girl get a break?

Big Boy Calvin

I am so lucky to be this little guys mom. He sure is a lovable guy. Are family seem to be constantly gathered around watching his every move. He is a great entertainer. He coos, smiles, and wiggles constantly. He is way better than T.V.

Cal sure likes his food. He is all ready at 15 pounds.

As you can see all the pictures of Calvin are of him in his high chair. Being the smart people that we are we sold are baby swing a month before Cal was born for $5 at our garage sale. What was the logic behind that? I don't know. He seems to be surviving just fine. Even if he is motion deprived.

Milk

Today I found myself dumping down the drain a gallon of expired 1 % milk. I found a strange feeling welling up inside of me. Sympathy. The poor cow who worked so hard to be able to bring that milk to my family has no idea at this very moment all her hard work is headed down the drain. As a current milk maker I know milk in that quantity is sure hard to make. I feel her pain with every bottle of breast milk that goes unused in our house is dumped down the drain. It is as if no one truly appreciate the skills it takes to make milk, not just any body can do it. Just ask Justin he's tried. So except my apology from one milk maker to another I am truly sorry for your loss.

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful thanksgiving. Our family has been blessed with wonderful family and friends. We were able to spend are holidays with almost all of are family which ended up being 3 thanksgiving dinners with in a week. Enjoy the pictures and I hope your holiday was just as great.

The new do.

The girls hair cuts. Jayci decided she wanted to cut her hair to her chin a few weeks ago.

She climbed up into the chair at the hair saloon and told the stylist exactly how she want her hair to look. I didn't have to say a word. The only problem is yesterday Jayci decided that she wanted bangs and the hair stylist are way over paid. So she cut herself some beautiful bangs all by herself and stuffed the hair in my desk drawer for me to find later. Surprises for me! I don't want to encourage this behavior but she didn't do such a bad job actually. Maybe she has some secret talent for cutting hair. So if you need a hair cut I am sure she trade hair cuts for Ice cream cones.;)

Halloween

The many poses of My Ballerina. I asked Jayci the other day if she want to take dance lessons. She point blank told me: "NO, I all ready know how to dance really good." So I guess she has perfected her dancing skills. She must get that from her dad.
